Job Overview
A national law firm is seeking a Michigan-licensed Attorney to join its creditors' rights and real estate legal services team. This fully remote role offers opportunities to handle contested foreclosure matters, draft legal pleadings, attend court hearings, and manage high-volume casework with accuracy and professionalism. The position is ideal for a candidate with prior foreclosure and litigation experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Location

Duties

Represent clients in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested matters

Review conditions precedent to foreclosure filings (loan documents, financials, demand letters)

Draft and review legal pleadings, motions, and correspondence

Conduct legal research and apply relevant statutes, regulations, and case law

Attend court hearings and communicate with opposing counsel

Maintain and update internal and client systems with findings and case progress

Ensure all applicable deadlines are met for clients, courts, and investors

Safeguard compliance with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections laws

Manage a high volume of cases with attention to detail and timeliness

Maintain confidentiality and uphold high standards of professionalism

Requirements

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to independently manage caseloads and deadlines

Prior experience in foreclosure and litigation matters (strongly preferred)

Familiarity with electronic case management systems (preferred)

Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to analyze legal situations and recommend corrective actions

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications
