Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Houston, TX, is seeking a contract-based entry-level attorney to assist with client representation during depositions and facilitate progress on personal injury insurance claims. The role is ideal for recent law graduates eager to build litigation experience in a supportive, training-oriented environment. The position is remote with occasional travel across Texas.

Duties:

Analyze and summarize legal documentation, including medical records, accident reports, and employment histories

Prepare clients for depositions and represent them during proceedings

Draft summaries following depositions to support ongoing case development

Maintain regular, compassionate communication with clients

Provide consistent case status updates and ensure timely case progression

Collaborate with firm colleagues to resolve client matters efficiently

Requirements:

Must reside in the state of Texas

Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction

Available to travel within Texas as needed

Willingness to participate in firm-provided training and follow internal processes

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Active and valid license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
