This full-time position focuses on managing a caseload involving auto liability, third-party claims, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party insurance matters. Location
Duties

Handle a full caseload of insurance defense files from inception through trial or settlement

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal correspondence

Represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions

Conduct legal research and formulate case strategy

Engage in client communication and manage relationships with insurance carriers

Appear in court and serve as first chair trial counsel as appropriate

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

Proficiency in handling auto liability, UM/UIM, bad faith, and first-party claims

Familiarity with Pennsylvania civil procedure and local court rules

Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously

Willingness to travel for court appearances and meetings across office locations

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Member in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar
