Full Time Attorney: Mid-Level Associate (Commercial Litigation) - New York

A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney with strong commercial litigation experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with expertise in both federal and state courts, particularly in New York, to join a dynamic and reputable team.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, writing, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of handling complex litigation matters. A JD with strong litigation experience, particularly in commercial law, is required. The position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce quality work deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage competing demands and meet deadlines while delivering top-notch legal services.
  • Maintain excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide insightful, well-reasoned legal analysis.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver outstanding results for clients.
  • Uphold firm policies and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer and attending virtual meetings or conference calls.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) with admission to the New York Bar (required).
  • Strong litigation experience, preferably from 2019 to 2021, across various practice areas.
  • Law firm experience is essential.
  • A federal court clerkship is a plus.
  • Experience in commercial litigation in both federal and state courts is highly preferred.
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills.
