Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a mid level Medical Malpractice Defense Associate to join its Los Angeles or Costa Mesa office on a Remote basis. You will handle sophisticated medical malpractice matters with ownership across discovery, motion practice and case strategy.

You will work closely with trial partners, including ABOTA level litigators, gaining courtroom exposure and a clear platform for long-term advancement in healthcare defense.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of civil litigation experience, with medical malpractice defense strongly preferred.
• Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with the California State Bar.
• Strong written and oral advocacy and excellent time management.

Responsibilities

• Run medical malpractice and elder-abuse defense files from intake through resolution with increasing autonomy.
• Lead written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, document requests and requests for admission.
• Draft research-backed motions, pleadings, evaluation reports and other core litigation documents.
• Interface regularly with insurer and institutional clients, providing timely reporting and strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with senior associates and partners and gain exposure to mediations, arbitrations and trials.

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established national civil defense litigation firm with recognized training and growth seeking a mid level Medical Malpractice Defense Associate to join its Los Angeles or Costa Mesa office on a Remote basis.

This role offers direct access to sophisticated medical malpractice and elder abuse matters, with genuine ownership across discovery, motion practice and case strategy. You will work closely with experienced trial partners, including ABOTA level litigators, gaining meaningful client contact, courtroom exposure and a clear platform for long term advancement in healthcare related defense work.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Medical Malpractice Defense Associate with:

• At least 5 years of civil litigation experience, with medical malpractice defense strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience managing discovery, research, depositions, mediations and litigation strategy in a fast paced environment
• Juris Doctor degree and current good standing with the California State Bar
• A track record of strong written and oral advocacy and excellent time management
• A self starter mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively in a Remote schedule
• $145,000 to $190,000 base salary, depending on experiencePerformance based bonus program rewarding outstanding results
