Job summary

Platinum Legal Search Group, LLC is recruiting an associate with 3-4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation to handle a range of disputes in our Baltimore or Columbia, MD offices.

The successful candidate will have courtroom experience and be able to manage all phases of pre-trial discovery, including drafting pleadings, depositions, document production, and trial preparation. Admission to the New York Bar is required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation.
• Experience handling pre-trial discovery (pleadings, depositions, document production).
• Strong research, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of business disputes, including breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and complex commercial litigation.
• Manage all phases of pre-trial discovery, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, document production, and trial preparation.
• Prepare for and participate in trials, with actual trial experience a strong plus.

We're recruiting for an associate with 3-4 years of experience in commercial and business litigation to handle a wide range of business disputes, including, but not limited to, breach of contract, partnership disputes, business torts, and complex commercial litigation work in the Baltimore or Columbia, MD office of a mid sized firm.

Qualified candidates should have previous courtroom experience and be able to manage all phases of pre-trial discovery, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, engaging in document production, and preparing for trial; actual trial experience is a strong plus.

Excellent academic credentials and exceptional research, analytical, written, and oral communication skills are required.

Candidates must be admitted to the bar of New York.

The salary range is $155,000 – $170,000 commensurate with experience.
