Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution, a full-service Maryland law firm, invites an attorney to join as we expand our real estate practice. You will advise on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development of commercial properties.

You will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, and related contracts; supervise title and due diligence, coordinate closings, and advise on federal, state, and local real estate compliance to mitigate risk.

Qualifications

• Experience in advising on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing and development.
• Ability to draft and negotiate purchase/sale agreements, leases, loan documents and related contracts.
• Experience managing due diligence, closings, title, zoning and environmental matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide Legal Counsel on Real Estate Transactions: Advise clients on the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing, and development of commercial properties, including complex joint ventures and real estate investment structures
• Draft, Review, and Negotiate Transaction Documents: Prepare and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and related real estate contracts with precision and attention to client objectives.
• Conduct Due Diligence and Manage Closings: Oversee title, zoning, environmental, and financial due diligence; coordinate closings and ensure smooth execution of complex real estate transactions.
• Advise Clients on Compliance and Risk Management: Stay current on Washington/Maryland and Federal Real Estate, land use, and environmental regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risk across all phases of a deal.
