Job summary

Porter Scott seeks motivated law school graduates awaiting bar results to join our team as Post Bar Law Clerk. You will work alongside experienced litigators on active cases, drafting motions, conducting legal research, participating in discovery, attending depositions, mediations, hearings, and client meetings, gaining first-hand exposure to every stage of the litigation process.

You'll make meaningful contributions while receiving practical guidance from attorneys invested in your success.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Completion of the July 2026 California Bar Examination and awaiting results.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions and other pleadings.
• Conduct legal research using appropriate databases.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Attend client meetings and collaborate with litigators on active cases.
