Job summary

Padgett Law Group (PLG) seeks a Foreclosure Attorney to join our New Jersey team. The attorney drafts and reviews documents, organises case files, and supports appearances in mediation, court, and sheriff’s sales, under supervision. The candidate must be a NJ-licensed JD in good standing and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• J.D., licensed in New Jersey, and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents for second level review.
• Organize case files and track deadlines with paralegals and assistants.
• Shadow a senior attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
• Coordinate with state team on case logistics and meetings.
• Engage with Supervising Attorney in weekly meetings.

We are currently hiring for a Foreclosure Attorney in New Jersey!

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents for second level review of the Supervising Attorney
• Organize case files, track legal deadlines and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants on case logistics.
• Shadow a senior or supervising attorney for appearances in Mediation, Court, and Sheriff’s Sales.
• Assist in preparation in advance of appearances.
• Collaborate with members of the state team.
• Actively participate in weekly state meetings.
• Engage with Supervising Attorney in a one-on-one weekly meeting.

Requirements

• J.D., licensed in New Jersey, and in good standing in all jurisdictions
