Job summary

• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients
• Oversee administrative staff such as assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
• Perform legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree with 2 years of related experience
• Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
• Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed
