This role includes evaluating and pressure-testing leading AI models on expert-level energy and utilities regulation knowledge, creating and verifying graduate-level problems and worked solutions, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained energy and utilities regulation attorney.

Who We're Looking For

You are a practicing attorney with 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: FERC Electric Regulation, RTO & ISO Markets and Interconnection, Natural Gas & Pipeline Regulation, State Public Utility Regulation, PURPA, PUHCA & Qualifying Facility and Exempt Generator Status, FERC Enforcement & Compliance, Power Purchase Agreements & Energy Contracts, Energy M&A & Regulatory Approvals, Renewable Energy Development & Finance, Energy & Infrastructure Project Finance, Energy Trading Documentation, or Transmission, Storage & Emerging Energy.

Ideal backgrounds include

• Partners, counsel, and senior associates in the energy regulatory and projects groups of leading law firms
• Attorneys at energy regulatory specialist and regional firms
• In-house counsel at utilities and energy companies
• Attorneys at federal energy regulators
