Job summary

Platinum Legal Search Group, LLC is recruiting for the San Jose, CA office of a prominent AmLaw 200 firm. The Employment Litigation Associate will handle complex defense-oriented matters, with 5+ years of substantive experience and California bar admission.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to manage strategy, drafts, depositions, motions, and trials while coordinating with partners and clients in a fast-paced litigation practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
• Employment litigation and counseling, or general litigation experience preferred.
• Admission to the California bar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience required.
• Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving and organization skills.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple projects.

Job description

We're recruiting for the San Jose, CA office of an AmLaw 200 firm for an Employment Litigation Associate. We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of substantive experience in defense-oriented employment litigation and counseling matters. An ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in successfully executing legal strategy, taking depositions, motion practice, trial, arbitration, hearings, producing witnesses for depositions, and other key litigation events. Candidates must have law firm experience and previous experience advocating for clients.
