Description

Represent agency in child support and paternity actions in Family Court hearings, Officer Calendars, and before Family Court Judges. Provide backup representation in Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) cases.

  • Provide legal advice and representation to the Child Support Unit (CSP).
  • Supervise welfare caseloads and provide legal advice regarding all welfare cases.
  • Prepare motions related to complex child support and paternity issues for the CSP.
  • Update complaint and motion forms in welfare cases as needed.
  • Develop court preparation training manual for child support staff.
  • Prepare for court/fair hearings and legal briefs.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor Degree
  • Certificate of Good Standing from the New Jersey Board of Bar Examiners

Please note, all Monmouth County positions are on-site; remote work is not available.
