Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina is required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly are expected.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while working independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and revising contracts, agreements, amendments, resolutions, policies, and other transactional documents.
• Drafting and amending declarations, bylaws, covenants, rules, and other governing documents for homeowners’ and condominium associations.
• Preparing legal opinions, memoranda, demand letters, and other substantive client communications.
• Drafting litigation-related memoranda or appellate briefs, when appropriate.
• Drafting and reviewing deeds, easements, and other real estate instruments.
• Conducting legal research and applying statutes, regulations, case law, and governing documents to client matters.
• Collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to develop and execute effective strategies for client matters.
• Maintaining accurate time and billing records.
