Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation experience
• Virginia Bar admission in good standing
• Experience with real estate transactions or land use matters is beneficial

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage complex litigation matters with attention to detail and sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex litigation involving real estate, title disputes, trusts and estates, eminent domain, and business disputes
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies for litigation and advisory matters
• Appear in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other litigation proceedings
• Work closely with partners and clients on case management, dispute resolution, and litigation strategy
• Support matters involving real estate transactions, land use issues, and related commercial disputes as needed

An established commercial real estate law firm based in Woodbridge, Virginia with over 40 years in practice is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 4+ years of experience to join their team hybrid in Woodbridge, VA!

This role will focus on complex real estate litigation, title litigation, trust and estates litigation, eminent domain litigation, and business disputes, with additional opportunities involving real estate transactions and land use-related matters.

• Salary range: $130,000-$180,000+, contingent on experience
