Clermont County seeks a full-time Attorney in the Department of Job and Family Services, Division of Child Support Enforcement. Under supervision, you will prepare and present court cases, draft legal documents, and provide advisory support to staff and the public.

Qualifications

Admission to Ohio Bar in good standing.
Experience with administrative and quasi-judicial hearings and preparation of standard legal documents.
Proficiency in research techniques, social welfare issues, and routine office software applications.

Responsibilities

Prepare and present court cases (e.g., paternity, support orders, contempts, sentencing).
Prepare briefs, pleadings, motions, entries, memorandums, and correspondence.
Provide legal advice to staff and respond to inquiries from DJFS and public.
