Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Houston seeks a mid-level Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its national full-service platform on a remote basis. You will handle creditor-side bankruptcy matters, contribute to complex restructurings, and work closely with partners to develop expertise in insolvency litigation.

The role offers stand-up responsibility from day one, with opportunities to advance within a nationally integrated team across 30+ practice areas.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of law firm experience, litigation-focused.
• Strong bankruptcy and commercial litigation background including insolvency work.
• Experience with business and commercial loan restructuring for creditor clients.
• Active admission to the Texas Bar.
• Ability to be in the Houston office at least 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Act as key associate on bankruptcy matters involving secured and unsecured creditor and lender representations.
• Handle business and commercial loan restructuring from strategy to implementation for creditor clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and related litigation documents in restructuring and commercial litigation matters.
• Support discovery, hearings and other courtroom activity in bankruptcy-related proceedings.
• Collaborate directly with partners and senior attorneys, taking substantive ownership and client-facing responsibility.

We Are Legal Revolution is working discreetly with a well established national full service firm with a strong litigation and restructuring platform seeking a mid level Bankruptcy Associate Attorney to join its Houston office on a remote basis.

This role offers direct access to sophisticated bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters for major creditors and lenders, with meaningful stand up responsibility from day one. You will work closely with experienced partners and a connected national team, building a deep restructuring skill set and a credible platform for long term advancement in financial restructuring and insolvency litigation.

The Role

• Act as key associate on bankruptcy matters involving secured and unsecured creditor and lender representations
• Handle business and commercial loan restructuring work, including strategy, analysis and implementation for creditor clients
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and related litigation documents in restructuring and commercial litigation matters
• Support discovery, hearings and other courtroom activity in federal and state bankruptcy related proceedings
• Collaborate directly with partners and senior attorneys, taking substantive ownership and client facing responsibility

Ideal Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking a mid level Bankruptcy Associate Attorney with:

• 2 to 5 years of law firm experience, excluding clerkships, in litigation focused practice
• Strong bankruptcy and commercial litigation background, including insolvency and creditor side representations
• Experience with business and commercial loan restructuring and secured and unsecured creditor or lender work
• Active admission to the Texas Bar
• Ability to be in the Houston office at least 4 days per week
• $215,000 to $235,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Performance based bonus opportunity
