Job summary

Career Servant is seeking an Associate Attorney in New York to manage a diverse case portfolio. You will meet clients to identify needs, select optimal actions, and represent clients in meetings and in court.

The role requires strong research skills and familiarity with subspecialties, to effectively close cases. You will collaborate with and report to the Attorney in charge and work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Accredited law degree required.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 3 years as an Attorney; top 100 firm experience preferred.
• Familiarity with legislation and case law in specialty.
• Ethical standards and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to ascertain case details and merits.
• Conduct legal research using statutes and case law to determine best actions.
• Draft legal texts including reports, contracts, and appeals.
• Represent clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
• Advocate for acquittal or clemency as needed.
• Report important developments to line manager.

Searching for a tenacious, perceptive Attorney to assist with managing a diverse portfolio of cases. The Attorneys responsibilities include meeting with clients to ascertain their needs, choosing the most appropriate course of action, and representing clients interests at meetings and in court. Throughout this process, you will collaborate with and report to the Attorney in charge of each case.

Compensation and Benefits
