Job summary

Qualifications

  • Accredited law degree required.

  • Minimum of 3 years as an Attorney; top 100 firm experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with legislation and case law in specialty.
  • Ethical standards and compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients to ascertain case details and merits.
  • Conduct legal research using statutes and case law to determine best actions.
  • Draft legal texts including reports, contracts, and appeals.
  • Represent clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.
  • Advocate for acquittal or clemency as needed.
  • Report important developments to line manager.

Job description

Searching for a tenacious, perceptive Attorney to assist with managing a diverse portfolio of cases. The Attorneys responsibilities include meeting with clients to ascertain their needs, choosing the most appropriate course of action, and representing clients interests at meetings and in court. Throughout this process, you will collaborate with and report to the Attorney in charge of each case.

To excel as an Associate Attorney, you should demonstrate outstanding research skills and familiarity with various subspecialties in the field, utilizing this knowledge to successfully conclude cases as needed.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to develop case strategies

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school
