Job summary

The US Office of Personnel Management—Office of Inspector General seeks an Attorney-Advisor (General) at GS-0905-14 in Washington, DC. You will provide legal advice and policy guidance supporting IG programs, represent the OIG in litigation and administrative matters, and advise on legislative and regulatory issues.

You will coordinate with federal agencies, Congress, and the Department of Justice, applying strong analytical and advocacy skills in a fast-paced federal environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from a law school accredited by the ABA.
• Active membership, in good standing, of the Bar of a State, territory, or DC.
• At least one full year of experience comparable to GS-13 in the Federal service.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and policy guidance supporting Inspector General programs.
• Represent the OIG in litigation and administrative matters.
• Advise on legislative and regulatory issues.
• Coordinate with Federal agencies, Congress, and the Department of Justice.
