This is an advanced professional legal and supervisory position performing legal services as a criminal prosecutor in the office of the District Attorney. Work involves prosecuting cases and supervising a group of subordinate professional employees. This position includes assisting law enforcement agencies with criminal investigations and charging decisions. It also includes the prosecution of cases at all levels of the criminal system from Magisterial District Judge to Appellate level disposition. Trials before a jury or a judge are expected. This position is differentiated from similar positions in its class because of the responsibility to supervise and mentor less experienced prosecutors.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Attorney IV has supervisory responsibility for approximately 3-6 direct reports.
