The Legal Department of the Secretary of State is seeking an Attorney 4. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in litigation, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and familiarity with standard legal research platforms and case management systems.
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice law plus three years of experience as a practicing attorney.

Litigation Experience – trial and courtroom experience, preferably including civil matters.
Strong Legal Research & Writing Skills – demonstrated ability to draft pleadings, motions, appellate briefs, and legal opinions.
Technology experience – familiarity with legal research platforms (Westlaw) and case management systems.
