Job summary

Day Pitney LLP’s Real Estate, Environmental & Land Use group seeks associates with 4–6 years of experience in commercial real estate to join offices in Connecticut, Boston, New Jersey or Miami. Ideal candidates will have deep experience in leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, with exposure to real estate finance and related due diligence.

The firm supports a hybrid model with two remote days per week, fostering collaboration across offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated commercial real estate experience
• Strong written and verbal communication and client-facing skills
• Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration
• Excellent technical, professional and client service skills
• Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively, and to develop creative solutions to meet client and team needs
• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate will be resident, and in good standing, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in complex commercial real estate transactions across leasing, acquisitions and dispositions
• Support real estate finance transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financings and equity investments
• Conduct due diligence and coordinate with clients, lenders and project teams
• Draft and negotiate transactional documents and provide client-focused services
• Collaborate with the Real Estate, Environmental & Land Use group to deliver comprehensive legal counsel

Day Pitney's Real Estate, Environmental & Land Use group is seeking associates with 4-6 years of experience with commercial real estate matters to join our growing team in either Connecticut, Boston, New Jersey or Miami.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in complex commercial real estate transactions, with a particular focus on leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, and construction matters. Experience with real estate finance transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financings and equity investments, as well as related due diligence, is also preferred.

Day Pitney's Real Estate, Environmental and Land Use group represents developers, sellers, purchasers, landlords, tenants, institutional investors, and lenders in connection with the acquisition, sale, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate.
