Job description

Engel & Davis, LLP, is seeking an experienced, part-time Trusts and Estates Attorney to handle consultation and sophisticated drafting assignments for high net-worth clients in our boutique practice located at Rockefeller Center.

The position offers an additional incentive for succession in a firm whose existing two partners manage an extremely robust practice dating back, through predecessor practices, decades before the start of its current incarnation 25 years ago.

Candidates must have a minimum of five years’ experience in a Trusts and Estates practice; excellent drafting skills; and an in-depth understanding New York and federal estate tax law and tax planning. We are looking to bring on board only a thoughtful, tuned-in, emotionally-mature individual with interpersonal skills suited to counseling clients on sensitive family matters.

Our preference is for a candidate who wishes to work primarily from home but lives close enough to Midtown to make regular visits to our offices.
