Job summary

Texas Litigation Firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team. From day one you’ll handle cases through trial across Medical Malpractice, Trucking, General Liability, Products Liability, and other civil defense matters.

You’ll work with experienced trial attorneys, with supportive partners focused on your growth in a collaborative, hybrid environment. Five or more years of civil litigation experience is required, with preferred exposure to medical malpractice or similar defense

Qualifications

• Five or more years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with insurance defense matters is a plus.
• Preferred experience in Medical Malpractice, Trucking, General Liability, or Products Liability.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own litigation caseload from assignment through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare cases for trial and continue building courtroom experience.
