Job summary

The Firm in San Francisco is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its San Francisco office. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of sophisticated civil litigation matters for established corporate and insurance clients throughout the litigation lifecycle.

You will manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and trial preparation while collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of substantive civil litigation experience.
• Experience with defense litigation, insurance, premises liability, products liability, professional liability, or commercial litigation preferred.
• Strong experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case management.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• California Bar admission and good standing.
• Strong ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Represent corporate, insurance, and business clients in complex disputes.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings.

• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $200,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
