Qualifications

• J.D. degree and active Arizona Bar license.
• 2+ years of criminal and/or civil litigation experience.
• Strong courtroom experience and confidence appearing before judges.
• Ability to independently manage cases and prioritize deadlines.
• Interest in business development and community involvement.
• Ability to bill a minimum of 30 hours per week.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and dives into complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Handle criminal and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Appear in court virtually and in person on a regular basis.
• Manage a small, high-quality caseload with significant client interaction.
• Support the Managing Partner on active litigation matters.
• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
• Participate in strategy discussions and motion roundtables.
• Report regularly to the Managing Partner regarding case status and developments.
• Conduct legal research utilizing modern legal technology and AI tools.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal representation.

Salary: $120,000 – 150,000 annually, based on experience

• Experience using Clio
• Experience utilizing AI tools for legal research and workflow efficiency
• Understanding of cryptocurrency-related matters
