You will manage family law matters, supervise hearings, draft pleadings, and advocate for clients in court while building a practice in divorce, custody, support, and related matters. Ideal candidates hold a J.D.

and Nebraska license, with strong communication and advocacy skills. Experienced litigators welcome, with opportunities for mentorship, advancement, and meaningful courtroom

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage family law matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, orders, and legal correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and trial.
• Attend court appearances, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files.
• Ensure all work product is completed accurately and timely.

At Stange Law Firm, you will do far more than push paper. You will manage cases, advocate for clients in court, conduct hearings and trials, negotiate settlements, and help families navigate difficult legal issues involving divorce, child custody, child support, paternity, guardianship, estate planning, and other family law matters.

Family law experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome applications from attorneys with litigation experience in other practice areas who are looking to build a rewarding career in family law. Attorneys in this position will receive meaningful courtroom exposure and hands-on responsibility rather than spending years limited to research and drafting.

This position is based in Omaha, Nebraska and serves clients throughout Douglas County, Sarpy County, Washington County, Cass County, Dodge County, and the surrounding region.
