Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Legal Recruiting, LLC seeks an associate attorney for our Real Estate and Secured Creditor’s Rights Practice. The attorney collaborates with real estate and bankruptcy lawyers, paralegals, and staff to serve lenders and servicers.

Ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate law; bankruptcy and/or litigation experience is preferred. The firm has been named a “Best Law Firm” by US News and Best Lawyers.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted and in good standing to practice law in Virginia.
• 2–5 years of experience preferred; foreclosure, real estate, bankruptcy, or creditor’s rights experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members in the management of a variety of real estate matters (including foreclosure, loan modification, timeshares, title curative, etc.) from initiation through completion.
• Draft, review, and approve real estate and foreclosure-related documents.
• Review loan documents, payment histories, title reports, and loss mitigation status.
• Ensure compliance with Virginia law and applicable federal regulations.

Seeking a skilled associate attorney to join our Real Estate and Secured Creditor’s Rights Practice. The associate attorney will collaborate with the firm’s other real estate and bankruptcy lawyers, paralegals, and support staff to deliver outstanding service to the firm’s clients, which include many of the nation’s premier lenders and mortgage servicers. Pay range and compensation package

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience, $80,000-175,000.
