Our client is seeking a Bilingual Staff Attorney to join its housing law team and provide legal services to low-income individuals, families, and tenant groups. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney passionate about tenant advocacy, affordable housing, and social justice to handle matters from initial intake through negotiation and litigation.
The attorney will represent tenants in housing-related matters while also working closely with community organizations and tenant groups to provide education, advocacy, and support. The position is fully on-site and requires regular travel to court, particularly Manhattan Housing Court.
This is a fully on-site position based in New York City. The attorney will work in both office and court settings and should be comfortable with frequent travel to court, particularly Manhattan Housing Court.
