We are seeking associate attorneys with 3+ years of New York insurance defense experience who are looking for meaningful courtroom exposure, manageable caseloads, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a long‑term Manhattan flagship office. Qualifications

• 3+ years of New York insurance defense litigation experience.
• Admission to the New York Bar (required).
• Court appearance and motion practice experience.
• Experience in New York Supreme Court practice.
• Based in Lower Manhattan (3‑Days in office required with Tuesday and Thursday as firm anchor days).
• Regular court appearances throughout New York.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and defend depositions independently
• Appear regularly in court
• Draft and argue substantive motions
• Participate in trial preparation and trial work
• Provide strategic reporting and analysis directly to carrier clients

This strategic expansion reflects a significant investment in infrastructure, personnel, and trial presence in New York City. We are seeking associate attorneys with 3+ years of New York insurance defense experience who are looking for meaningful courtroom exposure, manageable caseloads, and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a long‑term Manhattan flagship office.

This is a hands‑on litigation role offering real responsibility, direct client interaction, and substantive courtroom experience.

Position Overview

This role is designed for litigation attorneys who want active, substantive responsibility within a well‑supported, team‑based litigation model. As the Manhattan office expands, we are strategically adding attorneys to ensure manageable caseload distribution and allow for focused, high‑quality advocacy on each matter.

The ideal candidate has experience handling insurance defense matters in New York Supreme Court and is comfortable managing cases with increasing independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and defend depositions independently
• Appear regularly in court
• Draft and argue substantive motions
• Participate in trial preparation and trial work
• Provide strategic reporting and analysis directly to carrier clients
• Respond to urgent or time‑sensitive incidents, including on‑site investigations and coordination with clients and experts, serving as boots on the ground during active or recent loss scenes, and be involved from initial investigation through resolution

Experience in trucking and transportation litigation and fraud‑related insurance matters is strongly valued, as these areas represent a growing focus of the Manhattan office.

• Fraud‑focused insurance defense experience (preferred)
• Trial preparation or courtroom participation experience (preferred)
• Based in Lower Manhattan (3‑Days in office required with Tuesday and Thursday as firm anchor days)
• Regular court appearances throughout New York

New Jersey admission is not required.

Salary range: $125,000 – $225,000, commensurate with experience.
