Job summary

Greater New York Insurance Companies seeks an attorney to support its litigation defense in premises liability cases across the New York Metropolitan area. You will attend depositions, court conferences and trials, and manage pleadings and discovery to report liability and damages to the carrier.

The ideal candidate holds a Juris Doctor and NY State Bar, with 1–3 years of litigation experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Neos.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor Degree required.
• Admitted to the NY State Bar required.
• 1–3 years of experience in litigation defending premises liability preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 required; familiarity with Neos case management programs preferred.

Other Requirements

The salary range for this role is $86,800 - $160,700. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
