Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution, a leading midsize firm in New Jersey, seeks an Employment Attorney to join our municipal-focused practice. The role offers exposure to public sector employment matters and a hybrid New Jersey work arrangement with a base salary up to $150K plus bonus.

You will work directly with senior attorneys, handle disciplinary matters, investigations, disputes, and policy drafting, and help shape strategy and risk management for clients across state and federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment issues including disciplinary matters, investigations, discrimination claims, and compliance with state and federal laws.
• Support and manage disputes from inception through resolution, including hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and risk mitigation guidance based on deep knowledge of employment law.
• Draft and oversee tribunal pleadings, settlement agreements, policies, and advisory documents.

The Role

• Work Across Employment & Labor Matters in the Public Sector: Handle a broad mix of employment issues including disciplinary matters, workplace investigations, discrimination claims, and compliance with state and federal employment laws!
• Gain Hands-On Exposure to Litigation & Advisory Work: Support and manage employment disputes from inception through resolution, including hearings, arbitrations, and court proceedings!
• Develop Case Strategy and Risk Mitigation Solutions: Oversee complex legal research and apply deep knowledge of employment law to shape litigation strategy and deliver proactive risk management guidance.
• Draft and Oversee Key Legal Documents: Review and finalize tribunal pleadings, settlement agreements, policies, and advisory documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client objectives.
