Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Traffic Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have trial experience and a strong understanding of Illinois traffic laws, including DUIs, license suspensions, and moving violations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in court and enjoys direct client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in traffic court, administrative hearings, and criminal proceedings related to traffic offenses.
• Handle cases involving DUIs, reckless driving, speeding, license reinstatement, and other violations.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, and prepare for trial.
• Negotiate plea deals and settlements with prosecutors.
• Maintain detailed case files and meet court deadlines.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication to clients throughout the legal process.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• 2–5 years of experience handling traffic or criminal defense cases.
• Proven trial experience and courtroom confidence.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
