Job summary

C&M Legal Search seeks a Joint Ventures Associate for their California group. You’ll represent sponsors, developers, landowners, institutional equity investors, REITs, family offices, syndicators, and other investors in structuring and implementing real estate joint ventures and related funding vehicles.

Hybrid schedule 3/2 with billables targets; offices in Downtown Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County/Irvine, San Diego (7+ years), or San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years experience in a law firm.
• Experience with complex real estate joint ventures and LLC/partnership agreements.

Responsibilities

• Represent sponsors, developers, landowners, institutional equity investors, REITs, family offices, syndicators and other investors in structuring and implementing joint ventures.
• Structure and implement traditional joint ventures and other funding vehicles including real estate funds, debt, preferred equity, and hybrid instruments.

Our client, a leading full-service law firm, is seeking Joint Ventures Associates to join their California group.

You’ll represent sponsors, developers, landowners, institutional equity investors, REITs, family offices, syndicators, and other investors structure and implement traditional joint ventures and other funding vehicles, including real estate funds, senior and subordinated project and entity-level debt, preferred equity, and hybrid debt/equity instruments.

Billables: 1950

Schedule: Hybrid 3/2

Offices: Downtown Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County/Irvine, San Diego (only 7+ years), or San Francisco

Qualifications

• 2-10 years experience in a law firm
• Experience with complex and highly sophisticated real estate joint ventures and complex real estate limited liability company and partnership agreements
• JD from an accredited law school
• Attorney admission to California
