Job summary

Medical Director Services PC is seeking an Attending Physician (MD/DO) to care for residents at a skilled nursing facility in Staten Island, NY. The role offers a competitive salary and RVU-eligibility within a physician-owned group committed to high-quality care.

You'll perform admissions and routine visits, collaborate with APPs, oversee medication decisions, and lead care planning while coordinating with local hospitals to ensure seamless resident care.

Qualifications

• Active NYS medical license is required.
• Current DEA registration in good standing.
• Up-to-date CME requirements expected.
• Experience in SNF, long-term care, or managed care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform admissions and monthly, acute & routine visits for SNF residents.
• Collaborate with APPs on units to optimize care.
• Manage medication decisions, including narcotics/psychiatric meds, to reduce polypharmacy.
• Lead care planning, discharge planning, and ongoing staff education.
• Support the facility through regulatory and survey visits and coordinate with hospitals.
