Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seeks an Alliance Attending Physician to deliver high-quality care to inpatients and outpatients. You will rotate through SRAlab Alliance Sites of Care, leading the interdisciplinary team and ensuring safety, outcomes, and patient satisfaction.

Requirements include a medical license, completion of a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency, and board certification or eligibility, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine.
• Successful completion of a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and board certified or board eligible.
• Excellent communications and interdisciplinary skills required, including proven ability to communicate effectively with patients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leaders and staff at host hospitals to achieve goals.
• Serves as a practicing physician and provides medical leadership to the interdisciplinary team.
• Oversees and coordinates involvement of physicians, nursing and allied health staff to resolve complex medical problems.
• Participates in assigned medical staff committees as appropriate.
