Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. in Braintree, MA is seeking a Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care, guide clinical staff, and ensure high standards of patient care.

You will lead credentialing, supervise the QA program, support DOH readiness, and drive new clinical initiatives while maintaining strong interdisciplinary collaboration focused on geriatric care.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development.
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI Committee on a quarterly basis.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed of geriatric care advancements to evolve clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents with high-quality clinical treatment.

Responsibilities

• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

Requirements

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
