Job description

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking Attending Addiction Medicine for Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center!

The Mount Sinai Health System is looking for a psychiatrist to join our team in a new transformational, state-of-the-art, community-oriented facility for behavioral health with integrated services for mental health, substance abuse, physical health, and social service needs on the Lower East Side. The Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center offers opportunities for leadership, quality development, teaching, and scholarship within the Department of Psychiatry and the Mount Sinai Health System.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also provide medical evaluation and treatment services, including providing all evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorders.Candidates should have fellowship training in Addiction Medicine/Addiction Psychiatry, and/or be graduates of internal medicine or family medicine training programs with previous clinical experience in providing medication-assisted treatment for people with opioid use disorders.

Our compensation plan includes consideration to your experience as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications

Qualifications
  • Graduate of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Psychiatry residency training program
  • Completed fellowship in Addiction Medicine or Addiction Psychiatry preferred
  • Active New York State Medical License
  • Active federal DEA buprenorphine waiver?
  • Qualifications for Clinical Instructor or higher level faculty appointment
  • Collaborative, proactive, and dedicated work ethic?
  • Commitment to high-quality, cost-effective health care
  • Desire to grow professionally within a team-oriented, performance-driven department

Compensation range from 212K to 300K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits.
