Responsible for providing 4-Star/4-Diamond guest service to Slot players within assigned area, assisting players with questions and resolving guest problems such as currency/ticket jams and jackpots.
Must have the ability to perform multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining 4-Star /4-Diamond quality of guest service.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. One (1) to two (2) years’ experience working with the public in a service capacity.
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations
Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency.
Language Skills
Ability to assist guests verbally in English, write reports and correspondence, and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must be able to accurately perform cash transactions.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to resolve guest disputes according to departmental procedures and exercise judgment to decide the correct course of action, requesting assistance from supervisor when needed. Includes light troubleshooting of machines’ bill acceptors and cash-out printers.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand and walk during an 8-hour shift. Frequently reach with hands and arms, manipulate and feel with hands. Must have the ability to hear, speak, see up close and across the area, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Moderate to loud noise levels, dim to moderate lighting, often crowded, and a smoking environment.
Working Hours
Flexible scheduling required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. May include overtime based on business needs.
