Job Title: Golf Shop Attendant

Job Summary

The Golf Shop Attendant promotes the game of golf and the club, providing the Three Steps of Service to members and guests. Responsibilities include delivering quality service, managing merchandise, and overseeing golf shop operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and friendly customer service, handle transactions accurately, and check in golfers prior to play, including proper cash handling.
• Respond to inquiries and make tee times both in-person and over the phone, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
• Manage inventory, merchandise check-in, and organization of storage and display areas, ensuring stock levels of shirts, socks, gloves, hats, balls, etc.
• Assist with marshaling, starting, and outside services as needed.
• Support the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators with shop assistance.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and basic golf knowledge.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
