Summary Statement

The Front Services Attendant at Resorts World Las Vegas is responsible for providing a warm welcome to arriving and departing guests. This role includes assisting with guest requests, escorting guests to their destinations, handling and delivering luggage, and parking and retrieving vehicles. Additionally, the Front Services Attendant will promote hotel services and features to enhance the guest experience. All duties must be performed in accordance with department and Resorts World policies, practices, and procedures.

Primary Job Duties:
  1. Create a memorable arrival and departure experience by escorting guests, handling, delivering, and storing luggage. Explain hotel and suite facilities and demonstrate guest room technology.
  2. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
  3. Be familiar with hotel services, features, and local attractions to accurately respond to inquiries.
  4. Utilize company devices, equipment, tools, and systems to manage tasks and guest requests.
  5. Park and retrieve guest vehicles safely and efficiently, including oversized, manual, automatic, and electric vehicles.
  6. Adhere to Resorts World Las Vegas and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  7. Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  8. Use personal devices for job-related tasks and document review.
  9. Resolve guests’ concerns and notify the Lead Front Services Attendant of issues beyond authority.
  10. Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  11. Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications:
  1. Demonstrated experience in guest-focused roles within high-volume, luxury resort environments.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  4. Solid organization and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  5. Professional and friendly demeanor, remaining calm under stress.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive attitude.
  7. Excellent customer service skills.
  8. Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  9. Polished appearance and demeanor.
  10. Knowledge of company and department policies and procedures.
  11. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  12. Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks under busy conditions.
  13. Physical stamina and mental resilience to work under stressful conditions and meet deadlines.
  14. Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
Preferred:
  1. Forbes or AAA knowledge.
  2. Working knowledge of Opera, HotSOS or other service optimization systems.
  3. Ability to understand and effectively utilize computer equipment and applications to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Excel, Property Management Systems such as OPERA, and Parking Management Systems such as CVPS.
  4. Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education And Experience:
  1. At least 21 years of age.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Minimum of one year of previous Front Services experience in a similar or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
  1. Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  2. Ability to obtain the following:
  • Nevada Driver’s License
  • Current DMV Record
Physical Demands:

  • Physical ability to lift 75lbs. of luggage or packages and push a bell cart weighing up to 500lbs.
  • Physical ability to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction.
  • Requires prolonged running, standing and mobility.
  • Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions including various environmental factors, such as noise, dust, cigarette smoke and other environmental factors associated with an indoor environment.
  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Have an ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members and outside contacts.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
  • Must be willing to work outdoors in seasonal heat (100F+) or cold as well and inclement weather or adverse weather conditions.
  • Work in a fast-paced, results-oriented and ever-changing environment.
  • Able to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members and outside contacts.
  • Applicants must be able to stand and work outdoors for their entire shift.
  • Must be comfortable in areas of condensed stationery and moving traffic for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.
