Job summary

SP+ is an AI-powered parking solutions provider within the Metropolis network. This role focuses on guiding customers to available spaces, directing traffic, and maintaining safe, orderly garage operations.

You will count vehicles, issue warnings, assist customers, and support maintenance tasks under supervision of the Facility Manager. Prioritise punctuality, reliability, and professional communication across shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• A valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.
• Availability to work 2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and coworkers and respond professionally to problems or complaints.

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless experience.
• Count vehicles on location during the shift as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings for garage policy violations.
• Provide assistance to customers who forgot where they parked.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Deliver on our promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients by providing assistance when needed and communicating proactively.
• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces for a seamless parking experience.
• Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies; patrol transient and reserved parking levels as needed.
• Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
• Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
• Substitute for Valets when authorized.
• Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).
• Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co‑workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt calmly to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $17.00 per hour (+ tips). This role is eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate.
