Job Description

Under the direction of the Assistant Beverage Manager, the incumbent maintains adequate levels of bar glassware as required and a high standard of cleanliness to the bar areas to ensure high caliber service to customers.

• Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Duties include, but are not limited to removing glassware from the casino floor, detail cleaning of equipment, washing, sweeping, sanitizing, trash removal and grounds maintenance.
• Ensures that ample supplies of glassware are available during service periods.
• Performs work assignments directed by beverage management.
• Receives soiled glassware, placing items according to size and likeness on automatic dishwashing conveyor belt.
• Responsible for running dish machines.
• Removes washed glassware from automatic dishwasher and stacks them according to size and likeness for future use.
• Polishes glassware.
• Returns items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash.
• Responsible for returning glassware to proper departments.
• Responsible for collecting glassware from stationary casino beverage carts.
• Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation practices and procedures to ensure that bars and related equipment remain clean, sanitary and odor-free at all times.
• Knowledgeable of and adherence to food and beverage department regulations and procedures.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

Work Environment

May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
