Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) is hiring Attendant Care Employees (ACE) in Dover, NH. The ACE provides in-home care to promote consumer independence, with flexible schedules and a per diem arrangement.

Wages are $18.00 per hour. Positions are per diem with schedules set by consumers. Must be 18 years old and able to lift up to 50 pounds; LNA license is not required and a high school diploma is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care to consumers.
• Perform range of motion/exercises.
• Handle laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, and organization.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (training provided).
• Medication reminders to take medications on time.
• Provide community support for errands.

As an ACE for Granite State Independent Living, you can make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate support to our consumers and promoting their independence.

Flexible schedules: Ranging from 20-30 hours a week (Schedules set by consumers).

Job Types: Per Diem.

Salary: $18.00 per hour.

ACE Qualifications include:

ACE Duties and Responsibilities:

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
