Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) has immediate per diem openings for Attendant Care Employees (ACE) in New Hampshire. As an ACE, you will provide compassionate in-home support to our consumers and promote their independence.

Per diem schedules are flexible and set by the consumers, with pay at $18.00 per hour. ACE qualifications include no LNA license required and you must be 18 or older; you must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have adequate car insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• LNA license is NOT required for this position.
• High school diploma not required for this position.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
