Job summary

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) in New Hampshire is seeking Attendant Care Employees (ACE) for per diem openings. Flexible schedules are set by consumers, with pay between $18.00 and $22.00 per hour. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, in-home care, mobility support, and community errands.

Qualifications

• LNA license is NOT required for this position.
• High school diploma not required for this position.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds or more.
• Adequate car insurance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, eating).
• Provide in-home care.
• Range of motion/exercises.
• Laundry, meal preparation, housekeeping, organization etc.
• Assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Use of mechanical lifting devices (will provide training if necessary).
• Medication assistance (reminding a consumer of when it is time to take their medication).
• Providing support in the community with running errands.
