Job summary

Lakeside is seeking Attendance Support Counselors to help elementary, middle, and high school students facing attendance challenges in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This fee-for-service role supports flexible schedules during morning and after-school hours.

Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance, collaborate with school staff and families, and address barriers to engagement. Travel may be required; supervision is provided bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Prior experience working with school-aged children and adolescents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
• Knowledge of local school district policies and community resources is a plus.

Mobile Support - Attendance Support Counselors

Description

Lakeside Mobile Support Program has an immediate need for fee-for-service Attendance Support Counselors in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Lakeside Mobile Support is seeking dedicated and compassionate Attendance Support Counselors to assist elementary, middle, and high school students facing challenges with daily school attendance. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals committed to making a positive impact on student success and well-being. The role offers flexible fee-for-service arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attendance support to students between 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and/or 3:30-6pm, depending on individual cases.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve student attendance and engagement
• Collaborate with school staff, families, & community resources to address attendance barriers

The Attendance Support Counselors will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work with a team as well as independently, be reliable and have experience working with regular and special education students.

Travel reimbursement and bi-weekly supervision provided.

Salary Description

$40.00/hr & $24.00/hr supervision and training
