Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community is seeking a responsible Attendance Clerk to promote high attendance by auditing daily records and generating reports. You will interact with staff, families, and students to communicate policies and maintain accurate attendance data.
The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with a computer database. Candidates must pass background checks and are expected to support the Education Division’s efforts.
Promotes high attendance by tracking and auditing attendance daily, enforcing attendance policies maintaining positive parent interactions and assisting with the administrative support for the department and supporting the efforts of the Education Division office.

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Two (2) years’ experience with a computer database application, preferably in a school setting.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that would allow the candidate to satisfactorily perform the duties of this position, will be considered.
An enrolled Community Member whom closely qualifies for the minimum qualifications for a position may be considered for employment under SRPMIC Policy 2-19, Underfill.
This job description does not require the incumbent to drive; however, any employee who chooses or is asked to drive any vehicle for work related community business must receive written annual authorization to do so. For clarification, work related community business includes driving to and from SRPMIC government sites and buildings.
This position is treated as a full-time non-exempt position scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test and extensive Fingerprint and Background Check. Employee is Subject to Random Drug Testing and completion of a Background Check every five (5) years.
