The Attendance Clerk is responsible for providing comprehensive clerical and administrative support to ensure the accurate recording, monitoring, and reporting of student attendance data. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily school operations by maintaining student records, assisting with enrollment and withdrawal processes, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal attendance policies. The Attendance Clerk serves as a key point of contact for students, parents, staff, and the community, delivering professional customer service while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
