Description

A.T. Still University is seeking a non-exempt Campus Safety Officer on the Kirksville, MO campus. The role requires working all shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Responsibilities include locking and unlocking doors, maintaining security reports, monitoring activities, and providing protection for university properties.

Requirements

• Lock and unlock doors daily according to procedures.
• Patrol premises at least twice per shift.
• Check for fire and safety hazards daily and report hazards.
• Conduct confidential investigations and complete incident reports.
• Question strangers and verify their presence.
• Provide physical restraints when directed by authorities.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls.
• Maintain lost and found articles and reports.
• Manage vehicle registration files and parking regulations.
• Enter data accurately into the computer.
• Ensure equipment functionality and maintain vehicle fluids.
• Assist in developing departmental goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
